Abandonment syndrome
Mental disorder characterized by anxiety, anguish and loneliness generally originated by the rupture of ties of affection or fear of negative events. In some cases, personality traits can be permanently modified up to generate the so-called personality of abandonment. The syndrome of abandonment takes on its most important in childhood, especially in cases where the child has not experienced significantly the reassuring presence of their parents. This lack of affection can cause a slowdown in mental and physical development.
Feelings of Abandonment
Affective content of the child who has the impression conscious or unconscious fear of losing the love of their parents. The feeling of abandonment can be a source of worthlessness, restlessness, tendency to regression, lack of application to study and work, antisocial manifestations.[b]
