Freudian raptus

Violent and sudden impulse that leads to destructive behavior, which can reach even murder and suicide. A r. can be caused by an overload or affective or by a lack of control in unexpected situations and unpredictable. It is often found in depressions (r. melancholicus), in schizophrenia, in episodes of despair, or in the presence of unbearable events or stressful circumstances as psychogenic reaction to short-circuit.
